Workshops/Courses
Whether you would like to engage in a particular biodiversity topic or learn a new skill connecting with nature, we have a range of enjoyable and practical wildlife workshops and courses for you to choose from.
Perhaps you’re thinking about creating a wonderful wildlife pond in your back garden or community area, or you’d like to learn gardening techniques for attracting more biodiversity to your outdoor space?
All of our workshops and courses take place in the beautiful setting of Wildacres – 17.5 acres of East County Wicklow where wildlife and its habitat are prioritised. This land, which we have gifted back to nature, is attracting an impressive biological diversity from Red Kites to Pine Martens, from Woodpeckers to a myriad of colourful native butterflies.

Wildacres’ Sustainable Apiary and Honey production is a shining example of how agri-food can be produced in harmony with nature.
Our Visitor Experience has been designed with low environmental impact in mind – our electricity supply is generated from 100% renewable energy, our drinking water comes from our own onsite well, we use a Willow percolation system for sink waste water and tea/coffee is served in a real mug!
We look forward to welcoming you to Wildacres.
