Open Day at Wildacres – 25th April 2026

Curious to discover the joy of connecting with nature at Wildacres? Interested to experience how we have converted land into a nature reserve and biodiversity education centre? Want to know more about habitat restoration but don’t want to commit to a workshop or half day tour?

We’re excited to offer our inaugural Wildacres Open Day designed to give you an overview of the nature reserve and our biodiversity restoration projects, with an entertaining One Hour Guided Walking Tour.

Our expert guide will take you on the visitor pathway throughout this sanctuary for wildlife to show you a mosaic of restored wildlife habitats and healthy vibrant landscape. You’ll see plenty of stunning examples of our beautifiul biodiversity – both flora and fauna. This one hour experience connecting with the natural world will leave you wanting to come back for more and inspired to take action!

We kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your chosen tour time. Directions and other details will be emailed one week before the event.

Weather: Please dress for the weather on the day. We recommend long sleeves, long trousers, layers, rain jacket and sturdy walking shoes.

Suitability: Some uneven ground. Sturdy outdoor footwear recommended.
