Guided Nature Experience

Experience a fascinating and enjoyable guided tour of the Nature Reserve with Brian and Gilly, where you will learn about all the native wildlife that calls Wildacres its home. This guided walk will include visiting the variety of wildlife habitats that have been created, and at each location enjoy a talk about the importance of the habitat and the diversity of wildlife it supports.

The Honey Tour

Enjoy an entertaining and educational guided tour with Brian who is the Beekeeper at Wildacres and also Airfield Estate in Co.Dublin. On the Honey Tour you will learn about the wonderful world of the native Irish honey bee and our 100 precious wild bee species. You will also get a unique insight into the fascinating process of sustainably producing Raw Irish Honey from ‘flower to jar’.

We’re excited to bring you a unique (adult only) combined Bat and Moth experience this summer. We are delighted to welcome Bat expert Dr Niamh Roche from Bat Conservation Ireland whose breadth of knowledge of, and enthusiasm for bats will leave you wanting to know even more about these amazing nocturnal flying mammals!
